In addition to 2 independent DVEs in the ATEM Mini Extreme models, there's also a powerful SuperSource multi layer processor with 4 extra DVE layers plus a background layer, that all appear to ATEM Mini Extreme as an additional input source. Any ATEM Mini Extreme video input can be used for each SuperSource DVE, then it’s all layered together over a media pool custom background. SuperSource is just like having an extra multi-layer VFX switcher built in! SuperSource is perfect for doing multiple picture in picture displays with people being interviewed because you can set up the effect before putting it to air, still keeping both main DVEs free for other tasks. Videohub clips may have links to or from other clips and be scheduled to execute at a predetermined time which allows for powerful automation systems to be built. When doing larger live productions with multiple cameras, it’s very useful to see all your video sources at the same time on a single monitor.
VIDEOHUB CREATE MACRO UPDATE
If a crosspoint is changed on a BlackMagic hardware panel then Screen Monkey will immediately update to show this. The purple outline will always highlight active crosspoints regardless of where those crosspoints are changed. To send the crosspoint command to the router simply left click on the macro clip. It is also possible to change the thumbnail as seen below. These can be renamed to anything you like. Videohub clips are added to the dashboard with automatically generated names. A Videohub macro clip contains only one crosspoint. To create a new macro clip choose the source and destination you wish to connect.

These labels are set in the Blackmagic software. Once the router is connected Screen Monkey will display the list of sources and destinations. Click ‘new’ and set a name and IP address for each router you wish to control. Screen Monkey can control multiple routers. To do this create a new Videohub clip and then click 'new' in the device section which will open this dialog where you enter the name and IP address of the router. Creating a new Videohub deviceīefore you can make Blackmagic macro clips the router must be added as a device to Screen Monkey.
VIDEOHUB CREATE MACRO SOFTWARE
Screen Money will display the source and destination names set in the Blackmagic software but it cannot change them, therefore you should use the Blackmagic software to name the sources and destinations if required. This is a free download from Blackmagic Support website. The Blackmagic Videohub software is required to be installed on the computer. You will need to set an appropriate IP address on the router. The computer running Screen Monkey needs to be able to access the Videohub router(s) through a network connection.
VIDEOHUB CREATE MACRO INSTALL
If you did not originally install the option it can be added later, just re-run the installer and choose ‘Change’. The Videohub macro functionality is an optional install which must be selected in the Screen Monkey installation wizard.

Multiple Videohub macro clips are therefore normally required to build useful functionality. A Videohub macro clip sends a single crosspoint to the router (one source to one destination). The Blackmagic Videohub range of video routers can be controlled by Screen Monkey using macros.
